Week 7 Start Em and Sit Em!

Start Em and Sit Em Week 7

Start Em

QB- Matt Schaub- Schaub has continued to improve over the past few weeks with the exception of the week he missed due to illness. With a weak Lions secondary coming to tow expect Schaub to go for 300 and multiple TD's.

QB- Eli Manning- Eli had been on fire this year until this past week against the Browns which stunned a lot of fantasy owners. The 49ers secondary is not great and expect Eli to get back on track with 250 yards + 2 TD's.

WR- Laverneus Coles: The Jets go to Oakland this week and Coles will be a pretty solid play this week. The Raiders rank 24th against the pass and Coles has been solid as of late.

WR- Braylon Edwards: Fantasy owners were finally rewarded for their patience last week when Braylon had a big Monday night. Expect the momentum to carry over against the Redskins and Braylon to have a solid day.

RB- Chris Johnson: After starting the season off well Johnson had slowed a bit but expect this to be a big week for the rookie RB. Tennessee goes to KC who has allowed multiple 10 yard rushers this week so expect Johnson to make some plays and get 100 yards.

RB- Dominick Rhodes: Many may remember during Addai's previous injury stints that Rhodes was able to fill in when needed and put up solid numbers. Manning has that swagger back that shows they are clicking and when the passing game clicks it opens up opportunities galore for their run game. Rhodes will find the end zone this weekend.

TE: Owen Daniels: Daniels has been a nice surprise to many fantasy owners and ranks 3rd among TE's and leads in 20+ gains by a TE. Daniels will have a big day against the Lions as he is always a primary target for Schaub if his first option is not open.

TE: Zach Miller: Hatty has mentioned this guy in his weekly videos and this week he could be a nice play. The Jets like to stuff the run (3rd best in the league) and with the Oakland offense struggling to find a rhythm expect short passes to be the only regular open play which means Miller should get a lot of looks on Sunday.

Sit Em
(Hatty nor myself never recommend sitting your studs as you may see on some start em/sit em lists but these are a few of the players whose outlook just doesn't look good this week)

QB- JT Osullivan: JT has had some decent weeks but against the Giants D I would not recommend him unless he is your only option.

QB- Chad Pennington: Miami goes up against the Baltimore D and let's face it he is no Peyton Manning. I think Ronnie Brown is a better QB play this week.

WR- Devery Henderson: Between Moore, Shockey and Colston I don't see Henderson being on the field enough to be significant. He has deep play ability but unless bye weeks are hurting you Henderson's value is going to continue to decline.

WR- Chad Johnson: Mr. Ocho Cinco has struggled been nothing that fantasy owners remember him being even two years ago. The Pittsburgh secondary is not the best time to try and breakout of a slump either.

RB- Willis McGahee: McGahee owners (I am one of them) have struggled between injuries, other RB's and the fact that the Baltimore offense is really not that great. With Miami having a strong run defense Mcgahee is not an ideal play if you are deep at RB.

RB- Thomas Jones: Jones had a huge week last week and that momentum could be enough to have a decent week this week but if you have other options you may want to consider them.

TE- Tony Gonzalez: I like Tony but between the soap opera around the trade and the fact that the KC offense has sputtered more 71" VW Bug I wouldn't expect Tony to have a good week.

TE- Vernon Davis: Overall one of the biggest disappointments in a career in my opinion. Either they can't get him the ball or he is hurt week after week and really has no value at this time.
